Guiding Families Through Life’s Most Challenging Moments

I have spent nearly three decades practicing law here in Wise County, and it has been my privilege to serve the families and individuals of this close-knit community. For 29 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate some of life’s most challenging moments, focusing exclusively on family law and probate and estate administration. This work has allowed me to stand beside clients during times of uncertainty, offering guidance, clarity, and a steady presence when they need it most.

In my family law practice, I help clients through divorce, child custody and support matters, adoptions, and modifications. I understand how emotionally taxing these situations can be, and I approach every case with compassion and resolve. My goal is always to protect your rights while striving for fair, practical resolutions that support the well-being of children and families.

I also assist families with probate and estate administration, including probating wills, administering estates, addressing intestate succession, and resolving inheritance questions. Losing a loved one is never easy, and the legal steps that follow can feel overwhelming. I work to minimize stress by ensuring everything is handled properly and respectfully, providing clear guidance at every stage of the process.

The values that guide my practice are the same values that define Wise County: integrity, hard work, and community. I believe in treating every client with honesty and respect and offering straightforward advice—no surprises, just reliable guidance you can trust. As a long-time resident and practitioner here, I care deeply about the people I serve and the relationships built through this work. I listen carefully to your story, advocate diligently for your best outcome, and stay accessible throughout your case.

What sets my practice apart is the personalized, client-centered approach I bring to every matter. I take the time to understand your unique situation and explain your options clearly so you always know what to expect. My experience in Wise County courts allows me to provide practical, effective solutions that fit the needs of our rural North Texas community. Whether you are navigating a family transition or settling the estate of a loved one, I am here to offer steady, experienced support.

My path to becoming an attorney began with a strong educational foundation. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and later received my Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in 1996. Since then, I have devoted nearly three decades to practicing law right here in Wise County—a place I am proud to call home.

If you’re facing a family matter or working through the loss of a loved one, please know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to help, and I would be honored to support you and your family. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation.
